Our Story

Lightplay Electrical was formed in 2001 by David O’Neill.

Having served a full 5 year apprenticeship, qualifying as a JIB Gold Card electrician and working across the domestic – commercial and industrial sectors, Lightplay was then granted NICEIC Approved Contractor status in 2004.

With growing awareness around vehicle pollution and environmental considerations, 2020 has seen an uptick in sales of electric vehicles. With generous incentives on offer for both Private and Commercial installations, Lightplay can help you through the Government Grant scheme process from start to finish.

As an approved installer for a number of EV manufactures, we offer a large array of charging points and design specifications that will suit Commercial (fleet) Business or Home installations.

Electric vehicles are the future. Cheaper running costs from servicing, fuel, benefit in kind tax, parking and Congestion Charge; the choice to buy EV will save money and help save the planet.
